Application Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the College of Business, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and meet all of the following requirements: 1. A completed application for admission to Arkansas State University. 2. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. 3. SAT or ACT scores (optional). 4. Two letters of recommendation from teachers or counselors who know the applicant well. 5. A personal statement describing the applicant's goals and interests. 6. An essay on a topic related to business or economics. 7. A resume or curriculum vitae. 8. A $50 application fee. Applicants who do not meet the minimum GPA requirement may be admitted on a provisional basis. Provisional admission status is granted to students who have a GPA between 2.0 and 2.5. Provisional students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher in their first semester of enrollment in the College of Business. Students who do not maintain a GPA of 2.5 will be dismissed from the College of Business.
