Eligibility Criteria
- Those who hold a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline from an institution of recognized standing (transcripts required) are eligible.
- Applicants with degrees in other sciences, technology, or mathematics disciplines and who have 5 or more years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- The GRE is not required for students who have earned a 2.75 GPA from an ABET-accredited engineering program.

A scholarship application is not required. Consideration is based on high school GPA and standardized test score. Verify Auburn has received your academic information in the Applicant Portal. The high school GPA that determined eligibility for admission will be the same GPA that determines eligibility for scholarships.

The ESTIMATED TOTAL COST in the U.S. currency for attending Auburn University for one year, 2024-2025, is $52,030. –We regret that the Graduate School has no funds for scholarships or fellowships and cannot guarantee any form of financial aid. –Address inquiries concerning other forms of financial aid to the head of the department in which you wish to major. –Applicants MUST DEMONSTRATE the availability of adequate financial resources to meet personal and educational obligations. The properly completed “Official Statement of Finances” accompanied by certified evidence of your sponsor’s financial capability MUST BE filed with this office before an admission letter and your I-20 Form can be released.
For the Master’s programs, there are no specific application deadlines. However, the practical deadline for domestic students to have all of their materials submitted through the Graduate School is around 30 days before the semester begins and around 90 days for international students.
