Application Requirements

To be admitted to the College of Business, students must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the following minimum requirements: a combined SAT score of 1200 (critical reading and math) or an ACT score of 26; a minimum grade of 80 in English and Math; and a minimum grade of 75 in all other subjects. Students who do not meet these requirements may be admitted to the College of Business on a provisional basis. Provisional students must maintain a 2.0 GPA in their first semester of college and meet all other requirements for admission to the College of Business. In addition to the above requirements, students who wish to major in Economics must also have a strong background in mathematics and statistics. Students should take AP Calculus AB or BC, Statistics, and Macroeconomics in high school. Students who do not have this background may be required to take additional courses in mathematics and statistics before they can declare a major in Economics.
