• When to Submit Transcripts?

  

  f any of your education was completed outside of the U.S. and the transcript is not in English, your official transcripts must be submitted in the native language accompanied by a certified English translation. The translator must be certified by one of the following: Institute for International Education (IIE) United States embassy or consulate International transcripts may also need an independent evaluation of the international credentials . If this is required, you must pay the cost of the evaluation. • GRE and GMAT required?

  

  The MS Business Analytics program is waiving the GRE/GMAT test requirement for all applicants this year. However, we encourage (but do not require) applicants to submit GRE/GMAT scores if their undergraduate degree transcripts do not report grade point average (GPA) on a traditional 4-point scale, or if their GPA is less than 3.0

• Does Cal Poly provide tutoring services?

  

  All professors are required to hold office hours, and we highly recommend taking advantage of them to get extra help. Individual colleges and outside entities offer tutoring services as well. Here is a list of free campus tutoring services available: Peer-to-peer tutoring offered through the Writing & Learning Center Group study sessions offered by course (by request) Academic Skills Center - a one-stop-shop for study tools and resources

• Are there any classes that International Students cannot attend?

  

  All classes are available through Open University provided the following conditions are met: The professor and/or department chair give approval for the student to attend class. The student has proof of having met course prerequisite or has been approved to attend the class if pre-requisites are required. The student will not be taking a seat from a registered student at the university.

• How long does it take to process my application?

  

  It takes about 2 weeks to review your application. Therefore, you should send in your application 14 to 18 weeks prior to the start of the program to ensure ample time to prepare.
