To be considered for admission to the Social Work program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must also have completed at least 15 semester hours of coursework in the following areas: sociology, psychology, social work, and human development. In addition, applicants must have a strong commitment to working with people from diverse backgrounds and be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
