To be considered for admission to the Biochemistry BS program, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must complete the following courses with a grade of C or better: General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry II, and Biochemistry. Applicants must also have completed at least one year of college-level math and one year of college-level English. In addition, applicants must submit a personal statement and a resume. The personal statement should discuss the applicant's interest in the Biochemistry BS program and their goals for the future. The resume should list the applicant's academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and work experience. Applicants who are not native English speakers must also submit a TOEFL score of 550 or higher. The Biochemistry BS program is competitive, and admission is based on a combination of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and personal statements.
