Applicants must have achieved a minimum of AAB at A level, including A in Mathematics and a B in Physics. Applicants must also have achieved a grade 6 in GCSE English Language and a grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics. Applicants who have not achieved the required grades may be considered for the University's Foundation Year in Engineering. The Foundation Year is designed to prepare students for the BEng Mechanical Engineering (Advanced Manufacture) degree and provides students with the opportunity to develop their academic skills and knowledge in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering. Applicants to the Foundation Year must have achieved a minimum of ABB at A level, including A in Mathematics and a B in Physics. Applicants must also have achieved a grade 6 in GCSE English Language and a grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics.
