Application Requirements

Applicants must have at least five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English language, mathematics and a science subject. Applicants must also have achieved a minimum of two A-levels at grade B or above, including mathematics and a science subject. Applicants who have not achieved the required grades may be considered for the Mechanical Engineering (Building Services) Foundation Year, which is designed to prepare students for the BEng degree. The Foundation Year consists of two semesters of study, during which students will take modules in mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering. On successful completion of the Foundation Year, students will be able to progress to the second year of the BEng degree.
