Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 96 UCAS points, including a minimum of a B in Mathematics and a C in English Language. Applicants must also have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject. Applicants who have not achieved the minimum entry requirements may be considered for the University's Foundation Year in Engineering. The Foundation Year in Engineering is a one-year course that provides students with the academic and technical skills they need to progress to a degree in Engineering. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Year will be guaranteed a place on the BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree course.
