Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the College of Arts and Sciences, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the following minimum requirements: a composite score of 20 on the ACT or 1000 on the SAT, a minimum grade of C in four units of English, three units of math, three units of science, and three units of social studies. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may be admitted on a provisional basis. Provisional admission is granted to students who have a strong academic record and who demonstrate the potential to succeed in college-level coursework. Provisional students must complete at least 12 credit hours of coursework with a grade of C or better in each course. If they do not meet this requirement, they will be dismissed from the university.
