Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the College of Engineering, applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0, and must complete the following courses with a grade of C or better: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Chemistry, and Physics. Applicants must also take the SAT or ACT and achieve a minimum score of 1800 on the SAT or 25 on the ACT. In addition, applicants must submit a personal statement and letters of recommendation from two teachers. The College of Engineering also offers a pre-engineering program for students who do not meet the minimum admission requirements. The pre-engineering program allows students to take introductory engineering courses and improve their academic standing in preparation for admission to the College of Engineering.
