Application Requirements

To be admitted to the Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in family and consumer sciences, home economics, human ecology, or a related field. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, applicants must submit a statement of purpose, a resume, and three letters of recommendation. The statement of purpose should explain why the applicant is interested in the program and what career goals they have. The resume should list the applicant's educational and professional experience. The letters of recommendation should be from professors or other professionals who can attest to the applicant's academic ability and potential for success in the program. Applicants who are not native English speakers must also submit a TOEFL score of 550 or higher.
