To be eligible for admission to the School of Music, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the following minimum requirements: * A grade of C or better in four units of English, three units of mathematics, three units of science, and three units of social studies. * A grade of C or better in one unit of music theory. * A grade of C or better in one unit of music history. * A grade of C or better in one unit of music performance. In addition to the minimum requirements, applicants are encouraged to have a strong academic record and to participate in extracurricular activities that demonstrate their interest in music.
