      FAQs

      • We review all applications in the order we receive them. Be sure to check your email on a regular basis to see if we need any additional documentation. You should also continue to check your application status through Atlas.

      • We want to make sure that we issue you the correct immigration documentation. f you are currently in the US, it’s important that you complete the “Submit Clarification of your Present Visa Status” form on Atlas. You will be asked to submit copies of your current I-20, I-94, or any other immigration documentation you may have. This step is especially important if you currently hold an F-1 student visa and will need us to transfer your current SEVIS record to IU Indianapolis. If you are a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee then you should apply through the IU Indianapolis Office of Undergraduate Admissions

      • If you will need a student visa in order to enroll at IU Indianapolis, you must submit financial documentation verifying your ability to pay your tuition and living expenses for up to one year. To learn more about this, please download and read: Financial Information for International Students. In order to complete this step, you must fill out both, the“Submit Financial Support Agreement” and “Submit Financial Documentation” e-forms in Atlas. In order to make sure we have the correct spelling and format of your name on any immigration documentation we issue you, please complete the “Submit a copy of your Passport ID Page” form on Atlas.
