Applicants must have at least AAB in A-levels, including A in Mathematics and a B in Further Mathematics. Applicants who do not have Further Mathematics may be considered if they have a strong background in Mathematics at GCSE and A-level. Applicants must also have a good level of English. Applicants who are not eligible for entry to the course based on their A-level qualifications may be considered for entry to the University's Foundation Year in Mathematics. This course provides an intensive programme of study in Mathematics and English, which will prepare students for entry to the BSc Hons in Mathematics (Placement Year). Students who are not eligible for entry to the Foundation Year may also be considered for entry to the University's Access to Higher Education Diploma in Mathematics. This course provides an opportunity for students to develop their skills and knowledge in Mathematics and English, and to prepare them for entry to the BSc Hons in Mathematics (Placement Year).
