To be eligible for the BA (Hons) Social Work degree, you must have achieved a minimum of 240 UCAS points, including a grade B in English Language and a grade C in Mathematics or a grade C in a Social Science subject. You must also have achieved a grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics. If you do not meet these entry requirements, you may be able to take a foundation year in Social Work before starting the degree. The foundation year is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to succeed on the degree programme. You will study a range of subjects, including sociology, psychology, and social policy, as well as undertaking a work placement. If you successfully complete the foundation year, you will be guaranteed a place on the BA (Hons) Social Work degree.
