Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Child and Youth Care program, applicants must have completed the following high school courses with a minimum grade of C+ (70%): English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one of the following: French, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics. Applicants must also have a minimum overall high school average of 75%. In addition, applicants must submit a personal statement and two letters of reference. The personal statement should provide an overview of the applicant's academic and extracurricular achievements, as well as their reasons for wanting to pursue a career in child and youth care. The letters of reference should be from individuals who can attest to the applicant's character and work ethic. Applicants who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents must also submit proof of their legal status in Canada.
