To be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Civil Engineering program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The program requires 30 credit hours of coursework, including 12 credit hours of core courses, 12 credit hours of elective courses, and 6 credit hours of a thesis or research project. The core courses cover topics such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and water resources engineering. The elective courses allow students to focus on their areas of interest. The thesis or research project provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge to a real-world problem.
