Application Requirements

To be admitted to the College of Engineering, applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and a minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT score of 1150. Applicants must also have completed the following high school courses: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Chemistry, and Physics. In addition, applicants must submit a personal statement and letters of recommendation from two teachers. The College of Engineering also offers a Pre-Engineering Program for students who do not meet the minimum admission requirements. The Pre-Engineering Program is a two-year program that provides students with the necessary academic and technical preparation to enter the College of Engineering. Students in the Pre-Engineering Program must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 and complete all of the required courses.
