Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in human development, family studies, social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, applicants must submit a statement of purpose, a resume, and three letters of recommendation. The statement of purpose should explain why the applicant is interested in the program and what career goals they have. The resume should list the applicant's educational and professional experience. The letters of recommendation should be from individuals who can attest to the applicant's academic ability and potential for success in the program. Applicants who are not native English speakers must also submit a TOEFL score of 80 or higher. The application deadline is February 15 for fall admission and October 15 for spring admission.
