TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English test scores are valid for only two years (at the time the recommendation for admission is received at the OGSPS).
Each academic department sets its own admission requirements; therefore, some departments have a minimum GPA requirement and others do not. The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS) requires all students to possess a minimum of a 3.0/4.0 GPA (A=4.0) in order to be admitted without conditions. For new students beginning on or after July 1, 2024, the Purdue University in Indianapolis rates will be the same as those for Purdue West Lafayette. For more information, visit the Bursar Web page.
