Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and meet all of the following requirements: * Have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours of college-level coursework, including English composition, biology, chemistry, and math. * Have a minimum score of 80 on the TEAS exam. * Have completed a criminal background check and a drug screen. * Have completed a personal interview with the nursing program director. * Have completed a portfolio of nursing-related work samples. Students who do not meet all of the above requirements may be admitted to the program on a provisional basis. Provisional students must complete all of the required coursework and meet all of the program requirements within a specified time period. If they are unable to do so, they will be dismissed from the program.
