Application Requirements

To be eligible to apply to the Technology Petroleum Engineering program, you must have a minimum of 24 Grade 12 credits, including English, Math 30-1, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Biology 30. You must also have a minimum of a 75% average in these courses. If you do not meet these requirements, you may be eligible to take the Technology Petroleum Engineering Bridging Program. The Bridging Program is a one-year program that provides you with the academic skills you need to succeed in the Technology Petroleum Engineering program. To be eligible to apply to the Bridging Program, you must have a minimum of 18 Grade 12 credits, including English, Math 30-1, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Biology 30. You must also have a minimum of a 65% average in these courses. If you are accepted into the Bridging Program, you will take courses in math, chemistry, physics, and biology. You will also take a course in engineering design. Once you complete the Bridging Program, you will be eligible to apply to the Technology Petroleum Engineering program.
