Application Requirements

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social work or a related field. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, applicants must submit a statement of purpose, a resume, and three letters of recommendation. The statement of purpose should explain why the applicant wants to pursue a master's degree in social work and how the degree will help the applicant achieve their career goals. The resume should highlight the applicant's work experience and educational background. The letters of recommendation should be from people who know the applicant well and can attest to their character and qualifications. Applicants who are admitted to the program will be required to take a comprehensive exam in social work. The exam will cover the major areas of social work practice, including social welfare policy, social work research, and social work practice with individuals, families, groups, and communities. Applicants who pass the exam will be admitted to the program.
