We seek to build a student cohort that represents intellectual, demographic, and cultural diversity across clinical, non-clinical, and technical backgrounds. We are proud of our holistic admissions process that evaluates students based on their professional experience, academic abilities, career aspirations, and personal values. Applicants are expected to have graduated from an accredited undergraduate degree program or an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university of recognized standing. They must demonstrate their capability to manage the intensity and rigor of the MCiM program and to leverage it to advance their career.

At the intersection of medicine, business, and technology, MCiM offers a unique opportunity to cultivate team- and relationship-building in a diverse learning environment. We thereby aim to develop a cadre of professionals in health care with a commitment to inclusivity and to promoting greater diversity in leadership roles.

FAQs

  • According to the Stanford Graduate Admissions website, there are exemptions for submitting a TOEFL score if you meet one of the following criteria: You (will) have a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from a regionally-accredited college or university in the United States (excluding territories and possessions). You (will) have an equivalent degree from an English-language university in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, or the United Kingdom. The online application will not require you to submit a TOEFL score if you meet one of the criteria listed above for an exemption. U.S. citizenship does not automatically exempt you from taking the TOEFL if your first language is not English. You can find more information about the TOEFL here: https://gradadmissions.stanford.edu/apply/test-scores
