Scholarships

Stevens awards several merit scholarships every year to our most outstanding students. You are automatically considered for Stevens merit scholarships when you are admitted; no additional application is needed, with a few exceptions listed below.

Merit scholarships range between $5,000 and full tuition (scholarships may not exceed the cost of tuition). If you receive a Stevens merit scholarship, it may be renewed every year, for a total of eight full-time undergraduate semesters, as long as you meet all of the renewal requirements.


To receive a Stevens merit scholarship, you must:

  • Be an admitted, degree-seeking student at Stevens Institute of Technology.
  • Be enrolled in a degree program and attending courses full time.
  • Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress and specific merit scholarship renewal requirements (if applicable) in order to renew your scholarship if you are a returning studen

FAQs

  • Yes, we do require international applicants to submit either TOEFL or IELTS exam scores. There are exceptions to this requirement. Learn more about English language proficiency requirements. We do have waivers available. Please e-mail us at [email protected] to see if you qualify for one of the waivers or Skype interview

  • We would recommend referring to the Academic Catalog for course descriptions. If you want to inquire further about a specific course schedule or syllabus, please email [email protected].

  • Once Stevens has received all the necessary documents, the application will be forwarded to the appropriate department(s) for review. It takes, on average, two to three weeks for the departments to make a decision. The Office of Graduate Admissions will inform you of the decision by email and posting the decision to your application profile

  • The GMAT and GRE exams are only required for full-time study. If you apply as a part-time students, test scores will not be required.

  • You will need to submit the following items: Online Application Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended Students can submit unofficial transcripts during the application process, but official transcripts must be submitted once an applicant is admitted Official transcripts must be sent directly from your previous institution(s) to Stevens electronically or to the following address: Stevens Institute of Technology, Online & Corporate Education, 1 Castle Point Terrace, Hoboken, NJ 07030 Two letters of recommendation (academic or professional only) Letters must be submitted electronically through the online application system Resume/CV (School of Business applicants only) Personal Statement (required for all full-time applicants) Why did you choose Stevens and the programs that you are applying to?
