Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the BEng in Mechanical Engineering program, you must have a minimum of 70% in the following courses: English, Advanced Functions, and Calculus and Vectors. You must also have a minimum of 60% in Physics 12 and Chemistry 12. If you do not meet these requirements, you may be considered for admission to the program on a conditional basis. In this case, you will be required to complete a supplementary application and provide proof of your academic standing. You will also be required to take a placement test in Mathematics and Physics. If you are admitted to the program on a conditional basis, you will be required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in your first year of studies. If you do not meet this requirement, you will be dismissed from the program.
