Application Requirements

Applicants must have completed four Grade 12 academic courses, including English, Mathematics, and a Social Science or Humanities course. Applicants must also have a minimum grade 12 average of 70%. In addition, applicants must submit a personal statement and a letter of reference from a teacher. Trent University also offers a Philosophy Foundations Program for students who do not meet the minimum admission requirements. This program provides students with the opportunity to take introductory philosophy courses and to improve their academic skills. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to apply to the BA Philosophy program.
