Applicants must have a minimum of 6 subjects at Higher Level, including Irish, English, Mathematics, and one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Mathematics. Applicants must also have a minimum of 550 points in the Leaving Certificate. Applicants who do not meet the minimum entry requirements may be considered for admission on a discretionary basis. Applicants who are considered for admission on a discretionary basis must have a strong academic record and a clear interest in Physiology. Applicants who are offered a place on the BSc (Hons) in Physiology programme must meet the minimum academic requirements for the programme. Applicants who do not meet the minimum academic requirements may be required to take additional modules in their first year of study. Applicants who are admitted to the BSc (Hons) in Physiology programme must maintain a minimum academic standard of 60% in all modules.
