Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the BSKin program, applicants must have completed the following: - 12 Grade 12 academic courses, including English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics (Calculus and Vectors or Advanced Functions) - A minimum of 70% in each of the required Grade 12 academic courses - A minimum of 80% in the Grade 12 English course - A minimum of 20 hours of volunteer experience in a health-related field - A minimum of 2 letters of reference from teachers or other professionals who know the applicant well - A personal statement that describes the applicant's interest in the BSKin program and their goals for the future In addition to the above requirements, applicants may also be required to take the CASPer test. The CASPer test is a situational judgment test that measures an applicant's ability to think critically and solve problems in a real-world setting. Applicants who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents must also meet the requirements for international admission to the University of Alberta.
