Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Architecture program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field from an accredited institution. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, applicants must submit a portfolio of their work, a statement of purpose, and three letters of recommendation. The portfolio should include a variety of projects that demonstrate the applicant's skills in design, drawing, and writing. The statement of purpose should explain why the applicant wants to study architecture and what they hope to achieve with their degree. The letters of recommendation should come from professors or other professionals who can attest to the applicant's academic ability and potential as an architect. Admission to the Master of Architecture program is competitive. The program typically admits about 50 students each year. Applicants are notified of their admission status in March.
