Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the History MA program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also submit a statement of purpose, a writing sample, and three letters of recommendation. The statement of purpose should be no more than two pages and should discuss the applicant's interest in the History MA program and their goals for the future. The writing sample should be no more than five pages and should demonstrate the applicant's ability to write clearly and concisely. The letters of recommendation should be from professors or other academic professionals who can attest to the applicant's academic ability and potential for success in the History MA program. Applicants who are not native English speakers must also submit a TOEFL or IELTS score.
