Applicants should have a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject relevant to human evolutionary studies, such as archaeology, anthropology, biology, or history. Applicants with a degree in a non-biological subject may be considered if they have relevant postgraduate experience or research training. Applicants are also expected to have a strong background in statistics and quantitative methods. In addition to academic qualifications, applicants are expected to have a strong interest in human evolution and a commitment to research.
