To be eligible for admission to the BFA Photography programme, applicants must have completed NCEA Level 3 with a minimum of 12 credits at Level 3, including English, Mathematics and a Science subject. Applicants must also have a portfolio of photographic work that demonstrates their ability to think creatively and critically, and to communicate their ideas effectively through photography. The portfolio should include a range of work that shows your technical skills, your ability to tell a story through photography, and your understanding of the medium. In addition to the academic requirements, applicants must also demonstrate their commitment to the field of photography and their ability to work independently.
