To be eligible for admission to the University of Connecticut, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the minimum requirements for the College of Engineering. Applicants must also have a strong academic record, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, applicants must submit SAT or ACT scores and letters of recommendation from two teachers. The College of Engineering also requires applicants to take the SAT Subject Test in Math II and Physics. Applicants who are not native English speakers must also submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
