Application Requirements

Applicants should have at least two A-levels or equivalent, including one in History or a related subject. Applicants with a pass in the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) will also be considered. Applicants who have not studied History at A-level may be considered if they have a strong academic record and can demonstrate a strong interest in the subject. The University also accepts a range of other qualifications, including BTEC National Diplomas and Foundation Degrees. All applicants will be required to demonstrate their ability to write clearly and concisely, and to think critically and analytically. They will also be expected to have a good understanding of the world around them and to be able to communicate their ideas effectively. The University welcomes applications from students from all backgrounds and offers a range of support services to help students succeed.
