Applicants should have a good honours degree (or equivalent) in Russian or Scandinavian Studies, or a related subject. Applicants with a degree in a subject other than Russian or Scandinavian Studies may be considered, but they will need to demonstrate a strong interest in the subject and a good level of language ability. Applicants should also have a good level of English. In addition to the academic requirements, applicants will be expected to have a strong motivation for studying Russian Studies and Scandinavian Studies, and to be able to work independently and as part of a team. They should also be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. Applicants will be interviewed as part of the admissions process.
