Application Requirements

The University of Glasgow requires applicants to have a minimum of five Highers at grade C or above, including English, Maths and a science subject. Applicants with four Highers may also be considered, but they will need to have achieved a grade A in English and a grade B in Maths. The University also accepts applicants with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, with a minimum score of 36 points. Applicants with a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND) may also be considered, but they will need to have achieved a distinction grade. The University also accepts applicants with other qualifications, such as the Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 6 or the Access to Higher Education Diploma (AHE). Applicants with these qualifications will need to have achieved a pass grade. The University of Glasgow also offers a number of foundation courses for students who do not meet the normal entry requirements. These courses are designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a degree programme.
