Students can study a part-time course with a Student Visa that leads to a Master’s level or above qualification, however, part-time students are not allowed to work (including a work placement) or have dependants in the UK under PBS dependant leave. Students with a current Student Visa studying a full-time course are not allowed to switch to part-time whilst in the UK, they must return to their home country and apply for a new visa
