Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the MA in Teaching of History program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in history or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also have a strong interest in teaching history and a commitment to working with diverse student populations. The program also requires applicants to submit two letters of recommendation from academic references and a personal statement that describes their interest in the program and their teaching philosophy. In addition to the above requirements, applicants to the MA in Teaching of History program must also take the GRE General Test.
