FAQs
For the assessment of professional suitability, you need to submit some documents such as your Bachelor's degree certificate. You can submit these documents without a certification. Please note that you need certified documents for enrolment at Kiel University.
Many applicants receive their Bachelor's certificate at a later date and thus after the application deadline. We will accept your application also without your Bachelor's degree certificate. In this case, please submit a current transcript of records. Further details If you are admitted to the program on the basis of a transcript of records, this is considered provisional admission. Please note the information on provisional Master's enrollment in the menu item "Start of Studies" and on the web pages of the Student Services (in German).
Evidence of an industry-oriented activity is not required to be admitted to the degree program.
The degree program is completely taught in English. Knowledge of German can be helpful for your daily life, but is not required for your studies. Further details If you are interested, you can attend German courses at the Key Skills Center of Kiel University parallel to your studies. However, since the Master's degree program does not include non-technical modules, you cannot include them in your master's degree. Please find information on the German language courses on the website of the Department German as a Foreign language
