Application Requirements

Applicants should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) in a subject relevant to journalism, such as English, history, politics or international relations. Applicants from other disciplines will be considered, but they will need to demonstrate a strong interest in journalism and a commitment to the subject. In addition to academic qualifications, applicants will be expected to have strong writing and research skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also need to be able to think critically and to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. Applicants will be interviewed as part of the selection process. The interviews will be used to assess the applicants' suitability for the course and to determine their commitment to journalism.
