  • University of Maryland Global Campus is not a division of the University of Maryland, College Park, but rather a separate institution within the University System of Maryland. University of Maryland Global Campus is a product of the University of Maryland's evening program for adults that began in the 1920s.

  • If you are unable to complete your application by the November 1 early action deadline, you can still be considered for admission if you submit a completed application and all required materials by the January 20 regular deadline.   • The November 1 early action deadline is non-binding. If you are admitted, you will have until May 1 to confirm your enrollment at UMD.
