Application Requirements

To be admitted to the Spanish program, students must have completed at least two years of high school Spanish or the equivalent. Students who have not completed two years of high school Spanish may be admitted provisionally, but they must complete two years of Spanish at the University of New Mexico before they can graduate with a degree in Spanish. Students who are not admitted to the Spanish program may still take Spanish courses as electives.
