Applicants should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) in English or a related subject. Applicants from other disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In addition to academic qualifications, we are looking for applicants who have a strong interest in contemporary literature and who are able to think critically and analytically about texts. We also welcome applicants who have a creative writing background or who are interested in pursuing a career in publishing or journalism.
