Applicants should have a good honours degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject. Applicants with a non-law degree may be considered if they have a strong background in social sciences or humanities. Applicants must have a good level of English language proficiency. The University of Nottingham offers a range of English language pre-sessional courses for international students. In addition to the academic requirements, applicants are also expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to international law and development. They should be able to demonstrate their ability to think critically and to communicate effectively in writing and orally. Applicants should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
