Application Requirements

To be admitted to the University of Oklahoma, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0. If you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you must also have a TOEFL score of 80 or higher. In addition to the above requirements, the College of Arts and Sciences also requires that you have completed four years of English, three years of math, three years of science, and two years of social studies. You must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in your college preparatory courses. If you are interested in majoring in history, you should also have a strong interest in the subject and be able to think critically and write well. You should also be able to work independently and be able to research and present information effectively.
