Applicants should have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant subject, such as English, linguistics, education or a modern language. Applicants with a lower degree may be considered if they have relevant work experience or postgraduate qualifications. All applicants must have a good level of English language proficiency. The University of Portsmouth offers a range of English language pre-sessional courses for international students. Applicants must also submit a personal statement and two academic references.
