Application Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may be considered for the Foundation Year in Biomedical Science. The Foundation Year is designed to prepare students for the full degree programme and is equivalent to one year of undergraduate study. Applicants to the Foundation Year should have a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language, Mathematics and two science subjects. The Foundation Year is also open to applicants who have completed a Level 3 qualification in a science subject, such as a BTEC National Diploma or Higher National Certificate. Applicants to the Foundation Year will be interviewed by the Admissions Tutor.
