Application Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the MA in Philosophy-Thesis program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also submit a statement of purpose, a writing sample, and three letters of recommendation. The statement of purpose should be no more than two pages and should discuss the applicant's interest in the program, their research interests, and their goals for the future. The writing sample should be a sample of the applicant's philosophical writing, and should be no more than 25 pages in length. The letters of recommendation should be from professors or other academic professionals who can attest to the applicant's academic ability and potential for success in the program. Applicants who are not native English speakers must also submit a TOEFL score of 80 or higher.
